MFR is looking for a Client Relations Specialist in the ATLAS unit, who has a keen interest in providing after sale services to ATLAS subscribers, meeting their needs and driving their decision to renew the annual subscription to ATLAS.
The position involves a variety of activities, including a commercial and business development component, listening to the clients, identifying solutions for their needs, implementing and coordinating with the ATLAS team so the activities are implemented to meet the clients’ expectations.
The Client Relations Specialist works very closely with the Innovation Director, based in France, in charge of the overall ATLAS unit and of business development, with systematic opportunities to receive guidance and coaching. While establishing relationships with new subscribers is mainly under the responsibility of the Innovation Director, the Client Relations Specialist can support in this activity as well as needed.
The Client Relations Specialist will ideally be based in the Bishkek office, Kyrgyz Republic, where the majority of the ATLAS team is based. This will facilitate the interactions with the Platform Coordinator and with the team of ATLAS analysts, in charge of implementing the different client projects. In addition to the existing team in Bishkek (9), the Client Relations Specialist interacts with other ATLAS team members based in Europe (3) and Argentina (3), joining a dynamic and international team of inclusive finance data specialists. The official language at MFR is English. MFR believes and requires respect and value of all the different cultures of our colleagues, clients, and partners.
The majority of ATLAS subscribers are based in Europe, with a time-zone compatible with Bishkek; flexibility is requested to the Client Relations Specialist to schedule calls in the Bishkek evening hours, when some of the ATLAS subscribers based in the US will require, from time to time.
The main responsibilities of the Client Relations Specialist are the following:
— Driving the subscribers’ decision to renew their ATLAS subscription.
o Plan and implement check-in calls during the subscription period. Identify the most important needs of each subscriber, and plan activities (implement and coordinate with the ATLAS team to implement) so their needs are met.
o Plan and implement renewal calls at the end of the subscription period.
o Manage the priority level of countries requested by subscribers to populate data on the platform according to their needs.
o Discuss the client feedback, experience with the platform, and decision on whether to renew or not the ATLAS subscription. Negotiate and tailor the ATLAS renewal proposal until contract signature, in coordination with the Innovation Director.
— After sale service to existing subscribers:
o Onboarding new subscribers and refreshing existing subscribers on how to use the platform.
o Produce the database deliverables according to the specifications requested by each subscriber, cleaning and segmenting data as needed.
o Monitor the implementation of the portfolio monitoring services requested by subscribers and implemented by ATLAS analyst colleagues, with attention to the deliverables requested, quality and respect of timelines. Provide support to the ATLAS team colleagues as needed to achieve the good implementation of the portfolio monitoring services.
o Respond to any specific query from subscribers.
o Coordinating with engineers on website bugs and developments requested by subscribers, if not already managed by one of the ATLAS analysts.
— Supporting business development:
o Support the organization of webinars to present industry trends to subscribers.
o Support the development of partnerships with data providers (associations).
o Support marketing and other activities in coordination with the Innovation Director.

QUALIFICATIONS
o Excellent English
o University degree in Business Administration or Finance.
o At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or investor relationship.
o Excellent capacity to communicate with clients, comfortable with negotiating with clients and discussing service costs, comfortable making presentations to multiple people as part of calls with clients.
o Capacity to listen to clients, identify their needs, and propose solutions to meet their needs.
o Good time-management skills and multitasking.
o Willingness and capacity to work independently and proactivity.
o Good team working skills.
o Attention to detail, capacity to learn and follow guidance.
o Good command of Microsoft Excel, and working with Excel-based databases
o Experience in the financial inclusion industry is a relevant plus.
o French and / or Spanish are a plus.
The position requires full time availability for a duration of 12 months, renewable upon agreement of both sides, after a probation period of 3 months.
