MFR (previously known as MicroFinanza Rating) is a private and independent international rating agency specialized in microfinance. Our mission is to provide independent opinions, based on verified information, to enable and foster responsible investments. MFR is looking for a Regional Manager with previous experience in the responsible finance or related fields. The Regional Manager will join a dynamic and international team of financial inclusion experts and will be based at the MFR Office in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan and report to the Operations Director and Business Director. The Regional Manager will be responsible for business development in Central Asia (CA), the Caucasus and Russia and will define the regional strategy in close coordination with the Head Office, lead promotion and marketing activities and manage a team. The position entails sales to new and existing clients, contract negotiation, monitoring of client satisfaction and participation at regional events. It is also expected that the Regional Manager will spend a part of his/her time in the implementation of assignments and ratings, so preferably the candidates should have prior experience in data analysis, interviews with relevant stakeholders and reporting.

Qualification requirements:
— Masters-level degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields;
— At least 7-years of professional experience in the financial sector, impact investment or relevant international development organizations and projects;
— Familiarity with the finance sector in CA and Caucasus, demonstrated by previous professional experience;
— Interest and previous experience in taking on sales responsibilities;
— Previous exposure to socially responsible banks and similar entities in Central Asia;
— Previous exposure to any type of credit ratings and credit rating agencies;
— Strong networking and communication skills, demonstrated by previous experience;
— Ability to supervise staff and be a good team leader;
— Accounting and financial analysis skills, developed through academic or professional experience;
— Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (e.g. familiarity with formulas) and other programmed in MS Office;
— Fluency in English and Russian (full professional proficiency);
— Fluency in another language commonly used in the region;
— Proactive, dynamic, self-motivated, and autonomous;
— Results driven and organized;
— Ability to work in team locally and globally;
— Customer oriented.

Preferred work location: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Availability to travel frequently.
